• The Prince Charles Hospital Adult CF Patient Advisory Group

Doug is heavily involved in the improvement of Adult Cystic Fibrosis facilities in his role as Chairperson of The Prince Charles Hospital Adult CF Patient Advisory Group. This is a role he has held for the last two years and in it he has worked very closely with TPCH Foundation and the Adult Cystic Fibrosis patients. He has regularly given CF related talks to the community through this role and hopes to expand further on this in 2016. He did present several CF related Pharmacist training workshops throughout QLD in conjunction with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia during 2015. In October 2014 Doug was given the honour of opening the new Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre at The Prince Charles Hospital with the Rt Hon Mr Lawrence Springborg.  It has developed into a state of the art facility predominantly for inpatient care of Adult CF patients.
